This repair course is designed to train Aircraft Mechanics, Inspectors and Engineers with a general knowledge of Advanced Composite Materials, Repairs and specific Next Generation Composite Repairs. Heavy emphasis in the classroom will be on Structural Repair Manual (SRM) usage using computers and hands on training in Wet Lay-up, Pre-Preg and Metal Bond Repairs in the shop.
Upon completion, the Trainee will have demonstrated the knowledge and necessary skill required to perform repair and inspection of advanced composite structures in accordance with the manufacturer's structural repair manual.
